What is a vinyl skin — and how is it different from a bodykit?
A vinyl skin is a precision-cut surface wrap applied directly over your robot's existing panels. A bodykit is a full structural shell that replaces panels entirely. Skins are faster to deploy, lighter, and fully removable. Bodykits are a deeper mechanical commitment.
What is the lead time?
2–4 weeks from order confirmation. Each skin is cut to the exact panel geometry of your platform. No structural modification required — application is surface-only.
Can it be removed without damaging the robot?
Yes. We use a clean-removal adhesive system. The wrap peels cleanly without residue or damage to the host frame's finish. Robots can be returned to factory appearance and re-wrapped.
How durable is the vinyl under operational conditions?
2–3 years under standard operating conditions. All wraps are finished with a UV-resistant laminate layer. Thermal-resistant up to 80°C continuous — safe across all actuator-adjacent zones.
Can I request a custom design?
